Course Language: English
Course Provider: Vertex Instructor Training;

Description

Program:
In the morning we will look at trainers’ safety and lone working at height. As a trainer we will often be onsite delivering training where we will, at some point, work at height before our group are competent and in anyway ready to rescue or recover us to the ground. So, how do we prepare for these types of situations and what options are available to us.

In the afternoon we will look at remembering the Active Rescue on the Generic Rescue Syllabus. One of the common bits of feedback we get from our training team is “I haven’t done an active rescue in a while”. So, in the afternoon we will be playing with active rescues and how to resolve some common problems.
