Public Release of the New ERCA Training Syllabus
We would like to raise everybody’s awareness to the public release of the revised version (July 2024) of the ERCA training syllabus. The full document is now publicly available. This syllabus provides information for training on permanent and temporary ropes courses. The syllabus describes course aims and objectives, content, methods of teaching, course duration, as well as assessment criteria. Mobile ropes courses are not covered within the current syllabus.

To present the candidates with a great variety of elements, belay systems and a varying working environment, the training will be held at two different locations. Some of the days/parts will run at the Vertex Training Centre ( https://goo.gl/maps/snL2SxExvtD2, www.vertex-training.co.uk ). A few days/parts will take place at Butcher's Coppice Scout Camp ( https://g.page/butcherscoppice?share, http://butcherscoppice.org.uk/about-us/directions ). When watching out for accomodation best choose a place somwhere in between.
