Public Release of the New ERCA Training Syllabus

We would like to raise everybody’s awareness to the public release of the revised version (July 2024) of the ERCA training syllabus. The full document is now publicly available. This syllabus provides information for training on permanent and temporary ropes courses. The syllabus describes course aims and objectives, content, methods of teaching, course duration, as well as assessment criteria. Mobile ropes courses are not covered within the current syllabus.

This is our formal meeting with a lot of information on upcoming projects, board elections and of course a great place for networking.

Agenda for the Annual General Meeting

Tuesday 12th MARCH 2024, Start time: 12:00 hrs BST - noon (time zone: London, Dublin), entrance opens 30 mins earlier
Assembly format: in-person meeting with electronic polls and elections;
Hold as a ''Satellite''-meeting synchronized at the two following venues at the same time:

   • United Kingdom: Coombe Abbey Hotel, Brinklow Road, Binley, Coventry, CV3 2AB;
   • Germany: Sportschule Wedau, Friedrich-Alfred-Allee 15, 47055 Duisburg;

  • TOP 1 Welcome and formalities; determination of whether a quorum is present
  • TOP 2 Acceptance or correction of last AGM’s minutes (from year 2023)
  • TOP 3 Report by the Board
  • TOP 4 Report by the Arbitration Board
  • TOP 5 Report by the Cash Auditor
  • TOP 6 Discharge of the Board of Directors
  • TOP 7 Election for members of the Board
  • TOP 8 If necessary: Elections of the cash auditor, deputy cash auditor or members of the Arbitration Board if someone may resign
  • TOP 9 Motions
    • - If requested: Motion and voting for approval of Honorary Members
  • TOP 10 Miscellaneous
Motions and nominations can be submitted to the ERCA board members according to our bylaws.
