This workshop is offered an run by Vertex Instructor Training Ltd.. As you know, your rescuer or trainer certificate expires 3 years after the issue date. To prevent expiration Rescuers need to attend a CPD day and Trainers should collect CPD points. Attendants to this workshop will meet these criteria.

Program:
The workshop will be delivered by Kerry Jury and Ellis Bird. They are both ERCA Trainers and Kerry is an ERCA Master Trainer. In addition to this they are both qualified first aid trainers and Kerry is an active member of the UK Coastguard service.

The workshop will engage in incident management for ropes courses by combining both first aid and rescues skills. Implement planning and considering the wider implications when responding to an emergency.

It will provide those who attend with an opportunity to reflect on current practices within your own organisations, considering emergency action plans and specific staff training when dealing with foreseeable medical issues.
