As operators from Ireland know, the first challenge is to get insurance to cover the scope of outdoor activities. This is directly followed by the (now) challenging high sum of insurance premiums charged. We can say all outdoor activities are affected by this development. Therefore we would like to come closer in our network in order to join power and communicate our petition for affordable insurance costs with one voice.

The European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) invites the ropes course operators of Ireland for a video call on Wednesday 22^nd February 2023 at 13:00 pm (time zone: Dublin). During the call we wish to learn about your experiences and proposed solutions. Moreover, we will explain how we would like to start a supportive communication towards the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin and Ireland's Association for Adventure Tourism (IAAT). With your mandate we would then move forward and initiate a first official liaison.
